Interview

The interview/portfolio review* allows us to assess suitability of our course for your needs; it allows us to discuss the specifics of the course in relation to your experiences and it gives you the opportunity to discuss your work, course interest and future career aspirations with us.

Portfolio guide

The portfolio should include a maximum of 20 pieces of work which demonstrate your current design skills, creativity and capabilities in relation to your current course of study and specific course application.

For guidance purposes this may include:

  • design research, mood boards, product analysis
  • conceptual idea sheets
  • sketchbooks
  • 2D/3D development work
  • presentation work
  • life drawing
  • CAD work
  • photography
  • physical model-making (photographs only)
  • garments/accessories
  • written work (contextual marketing reports, diaries of museum, cultural, field study visits)
  • record of achievement folder
