
Young engineers got the chance to showcase their efforts at the University of Huddersfield on 23rd April. Sixteen teams of sixth form students who have been working with local companies on the Engineering Education Scheme in England (EESE). At the end of the six-month scheme, sponsored by Computing and Engineering at the University, the projects were assessed by experts from business and education.
The teams included a group from Greenhead College who worked with Borg Warner Turbo Systems to produce an application device for lubricating machines and Heckmondwike Grammar School who took part in a project sponsored by David Brown Gears.
