Login to your university e-mail. Click on the Options section at the top right hand side of the display.

The left hand side of the screen will displayed the list of Options. Click on Rules.

From the toolbar at the top of the Rules window, select New Rule....and select Create a New Rule for arriving messages

Under the Do the following list select Forward or Redirect and select Forward the message to people or distribution lists
Enter a name for the rule in the Name: box at the bottom of the window.
Click on the people or distribution lists option to the left of the display.

Enter a forwarding email address in the Message recipents: To box at the bottom of the screen. You need to use the full form of the email address, such as a.n.other@yahoo.co.uk
Click OK

To help prevent your University mailbox from filling up, select Move, Copy or Delete from the Do the following list and select Delete the message. Select Save to save the Rule
Click OK when you receive a warning about the rule applying to every message. Click on the Mail folder on the left-hand side of the screen to return to your messages. If you want to remove or change the rule, use the appropriate button in the Rules window.
Please remember to log in to your University webmail from time to time and clear out messages you do not need to keep. Otherwise, your mailbox will eventually fill up and you will not be able to receive any further messages.
