Career Opportunities

Our graduates have an excellent track record in obtaining employment with either their placement company or other organisations. This course provides you with the knowledge, understanding and transferable skills which are essential in both well established business organisations and also Internet start-ups.

Placement

Choosing a work placement offers you the opportunity to develop skills and experience that will be of value to potential employers, giving you a head start in your graduate career and the potential to achieve a higher starting salary.

Opting for a placement year can improve your graduate earning potential and vastly improve your chances of a better degree classification. Business School students who completed a placement year were three times more likely to achieve a 2:1 or 1st degree award than those students who didn't (TQEF Survey 2006).

Our Business Placement Unit is dedicated to sourcing relevant placement opportunities for students and works with a wide range of local, national and international companies.
