Introduction

We want designers who swim against the tide, will challenge pre-conceptions, think differently and wish to influence the design world. If this is you, then look no further!

This truly unique 3D design course gives you a learning experience that encourages creativity, self-expression and the development of an exciting portfolio of market-ready products.

The course not only develops practical design skills but also the essential business and manufacturing skills vital for the commercialisation of desirable products. The range of subject matter is potentially huge, encompassing functional and decorative items.

Self-initiated design projects give you freedom to explore personal design philosophies. The outputs of projects form the focus of your business start-up activity. During the optional third year the Enterprise Support Programme will help you start your new creative enterprise in a secure environment. A concluding year sees the conception, development and manufacture of final products for your creative enterprise.
