The course offers the opportunity to study core aspects of childhood and areas of underpinning knowledge essential for those planning to work with children and young people, such as safeguarding children and young people, working with families and ensuring children's health and well-being. A range of optional modules drawn from relevant parts of the School's undergraduate programme will also be available.
