A new Enterprise Educators' Forum is being set up to give information on enterprise education initiatives, share good practice, and to support each other in the development of new learning opportunities. Details will soon be available on the Staff Development website and handbook.
The third Enterprise Educators Forum will take place 11 February 2010, 2:00-4:00, in the Large Conference Room on Level 7 of Central Services Building. Regional1, National2, and European3 policy reports have recently recognised the need for increased provision of enterprise and entrepreneurship education within all subject areas of HE. The reports call for a range of activity including embedding into the subject-specific curriculum, provision of dedicated subject-specific enterprise-related programmes, extra-curricular courses and training, and support for student business start-up.
