Mental Health Research Group

Aims of the group:

  • To have an overview of research relating to mental health within the University.
  • To provide support for practice based research
  • To enable collaborations between University, the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and other health and social care organisations in developing and conducting research.
  • To provide a forum for sharing knowledge and expertise and to discuss and develop research ideas.
  • To promote mental health R&D, the implementation of evidence based practice and evidence based educational programmes.
  • To link into appropriate NHS Priorities and Needs programmes of research.

Membership

Membership of the group is open to all staff with an interest in contributing to the School’s research in mental health. The group includes interested parties external to the University and has strong links with the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
