Scholarships for New Students*

Scholarships for every year of your study...

Our aim is to provide as much financial assistance as possible, so if you win a scholarship it will apply to all years of your course.

We have an extensive scholarship programme to help well-qualified international students to study in Huddersfield.

All self-funding international applicants with overseas fee status applying for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses will automatically be considered for these scholarships and will be notified of their assessed status in their offer letter and through our applicant portal.

Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievements and the standard of English language that an applicant will reach, so it is important to submit all of your transcripts with your application.

These scholarships are available for all start dates in the year and for the full duration and each year of a course. If you are accepted to progress from one of our undergraduate courses to one of our postgraduate courses you may also qualify for a generous progression scholarship.

Li Shuangyu"Huddersfield is a nice sized town; students can get whatever they want all within walking distance. The campus is located in the town-centre and very close to supermarkets and the train station. People in the town compared to those in bigger cities are more friendly and willing to smile at strangers, which make those who come for the first time feel at home."

"I had a long cherished desire to pursue my Masters degree in the United Kingdom. In view of my financial implications, I was a bit worried and tensed. Prayerfully, I submitted my application for the Patrick Stewart scholarship. It was God's providence that my prayers were answered and I was intimated of 100% fees waiver scholarship.

"It thrilled and filled my heart with joy unspeakable. The Lord's ways are mysterious. I am very thankful to our Vice Chancellor Patrick Stewart for awarding me the scholarship. University of Huddersfield has been a cradle of knowledge and will ever remain memorable."
