Forensic Sciences

Forensic Science is a powerful tool in the fight against crime. It has been around for a long time, but only recently has it become truly scientific, encompassing such disciplines as chemistry, biology and the various analytical sciences.

Our courses give graduates an in-depth understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the fascinating world of the forensic and analytical sciences.

In 2008, the MSci Forensic and Analytical Sciences and BSc Forensic and Analytical Sciences courses were accredited by the Forensic Science Society.

The course also gives them the necessary skills to help them seek the career of their choice, whether as an analytical scientist, a forensic scientist, a crime scene examiner or a police officer.
