The School of Applied Sciences at the University of Huddersfield is delighted to announce a new series of Public Lectures for the 2009-2010 academic year - and this year’s lectures promise to be just as informative, entertaining and popular as those of previous years. Although the lectures cover a wide range of topics, there is a common theme: each one will present a new and interesting perspective on subjects that are not only important to all of us – the energy crisis and climate, food, transport and even the origin of life itself – but which also reflect the depth and diversity of research within the School.
Please accept our invitation to what will be a very enjoyable lecture series
