Teaching Facilities

All of our teaching rooms have been extensively refurbished in recent years, offering a comfortable environment in which to study. These include large lecture theatres and flexible tutorial and seminar rooms

All of the rooms contain up to date AV facilities and teaching aids, including projectors connected to computers and DVD players, and a growing number of rooms have interactive whiteboards.

e-Learning

The Blackboard Virtual Learning Environment is used extensively to facilitate and support teaching and learning.

Students are able to download notes and tutorial material directly from the system, and engage with a range of online learning activities.  These might be discussion boards, blogs, wikis, quizzes or online tests. You might also be asked to hand in work to your tutors electronically through the system.

The system can be accessed either from a computer on the campus or from any computer with an internet connection, anywhere in the world.
