We are very keen to develop links with schools and very much welcome enquiries and visits from students interested in studying Food, Nutrition or a related subject at the University.
The activities we offer to schools and individual students include Focus Days, University Open Days and Applicants Open Days.
These days provide an opportunity for sixth formers to taste student life at Huddersfield University. Activities include presentations, lectures, and opportunities to create and evaluate foods using our specialist equipment and laboratories.
Staff and students can tour our facilities and talk informally with teaching staff and current students.
In previous years we have offered Focus Days for AS and A2 Food Technology students, for Advanced GNVQ/AVCE Science students and for Advanced GNVQ/AVCE Health and Social Care students.

These days are specifically for students who have already applied for our courses and provide further details of our courses and careers followed by Huddersfield University graduates.
If you are not able to visit us or alternatively you just want to receive details of our courses and activities please contact Deborah Pufal, our Admissions Tutor, who will be happy to post you an information pack including our course prospectus.
