An MPharm is the only degree which is acceptable as the first step towards a career as a pharmacists. On completion of your MPharm you will be required to undertake pre-registration training before qualifying as a registered pharmacist.
Further information about the MPharm at Huddersfield is available on these pages. You can also view the Prospectus entry for further details.
In common with all other Schools of Pharmacy, Huddersfield requires external accreditation of its course by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB). In 2008 the University of Huddersfield received approval from the RPSGB to admit students to the MPharm. The RPSGB will accredit each year until full accreditation is achieved when the 1st cohort of students graduate. Students will graduate with an accredited MPharm from the University of Huddersfield. If you have any queries about accreditation then please contact the admissions tutor.
