So you are thinking of becoming a Pharmacist?

Welcome to the first the step of your journey. If you decide to study pharmacy your journey may last for the next 40 years! A Pharmacy degree (MPharm) is just one of the requirements along the way to becoming a registered Pharmacist. An MPharm is the only degree which will ultimately allow you to register and practice as a pharmacist.

At Huddersfield you will be part of a small cohort of about 60-70 students where the academics and your fellow students will be able to get to know you on an individual basis and the University ethos of small group teaching will allow us to help you to develop from a student into a Healthcare Professional over the 4 years that you spend with us.

Following a successful first year, 98% of our students are continuing their studies into the second year.  This excellent pass rate is down to the hard work the students put in addition to the small group teaching where the academics identified those students struggling and had time to dedicate to them to ensure they passed.

We also offer a Foundation Degree and short courses which are ideal CPD for pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals.
