Before You Apply

People from the UK or EU member states wishing to apply for a full-time undergraduate course at the University of Huddersfield, or its campuses at Barnsley and Oldham, should do so via UCAS.

We recommend that all applicants visit the Before You Apply section of the UCAS. These pages provide invaluable advice on how to get it right when it comes to researching universities and their courses.

In particular, you should note the following:

  • Some courses will stipulate certain requirements such as particular qualifications, admissions tests or evidence of relevant work experience.
  • We would urge all applicants to visit at least two university Open Days prior to making their application.
  • Information about tuition fees, grants, bursaries, scholarships and loans can be found on the University of Huddersfield's finance pages,  via the Student Finance England website, or the Government Direct web site.
  • International students from outside the EU are advised to contact the University of Huddersfield's International Office in the first instance.

Individuals who are not holding offers from their initial application will be eligible to re-apply via UCAS Extra for another course on a sequential basis.
