Events for Parents

Tuition fees and financial support for Higher Education will be changing substantially in 2012. We understand the importance of this and also explaining the choices available. As well as speaking to parental audiences in schools and colleges across the region, we offer a specialist event on an annual basis.

Parents’ Information Evenings:

In April 2011, we hosted three Parents' Information Evenings for parents or guardians in conjunction with Calderdale and Kirklees Careers Service. These events explained the UCAS application process and financial support for students, as well as providing an opportunity to meet our academics and to quiz our current students. This event is aimed at Year 12 and Lower Sixth Form students, parents or guardians only.
