Specialist Skills and Post Registration Development
The University of Huddersfield is the largest provider of health and social care Specialist Skills and Post Registration Development (SSPRD) courses within the Yorkshire and Humberside area. We pride ourselves on our high class facilities which encompass specialist skills and simulation laboratories.
Those studying with us will be taught by lecturers who are clinical experts with current professional registration, hold postgraduate degrees and are required to be Fellows of the Higher Education Academy. Their knowledge is embedded in the range of courses offered, which have all been designed to help:
- Maintain professional registration
- Enhance skills and knowledge to facilitate service improvement and organisational development in health and social care
Many of our SSPRD courses can be studied as short courses or can be accredited towards an Honours or Master’s degree.
