What type of study are you interested in?

Hello, I'm Patrick Stewart, Chancellor of the University of Huddersfield.
I'd like to give you a very brief introduction to the University, and encourage you to read on to find out more about the courses and facilities on offer to you.
If you don't know the town of Huddersfield, I can assure you that it's in a beautiful part of the world, with excellent transport links to the rest of the UK. Having grown up in this area I have great admiration and affection for its people and institutions. You will find that Yorkshire-folk are warm and welcoming.
The University itself has excellent facilities and support for students, top class teaching and many outstanding research teams. Our students consistently tell us that Huddersfield is a great place to live and learn.
Each year, since becoming Chancellor of the University, I have had the honour and pleasure of attending the graduation ceremonies. During these events I have been deeply impressed by the abilities and maturity of our graduates. They have told me how much they have enjoyed studying at Huddersfield. As our graduates leave us to go out into the world of work, or further study, they have fond memories of their time at Huddersfield.
Whether you are from the Yorkshire area, another part of the UK, or an international student looking for a good place to study in the UK, I do hope you will consider joining us. You will find a warm welcome in a vibrant community.
