Huddersfield Giants have boosted their marketing arm with the addition of 22 year old graduate James Rennard. The marketing graduate from the University of Huddersfield has taken the role of Marketing Assistant to James Brammer with Giants Managing Director Richard Thewlis saying he is a welcome addition to the team:
“As the club gets bigger and bigger the role of the staff to facilitate the supporters’ needs and to continue to drive our crowds forward grows. James had an opportunity via the University of Huddersfield during which he demonstrated an excellent understanding of the game and our needs to develop the club so it is with pleasure that we were able to offer him a full time role upon his graduation. He will bring new ideas and a fresh youthful approach to the department and I look forward to working with him again.”
Rennard himself was delighted to accept the Giants offer:
“My initial work placement period was both enjoyable and rewarding, and given the affinity for the club I developed during that time, I was always hopeful that the Giants would be able to offer me full time employment when my studies had finished. It’s clear that the club is going through an exciting period and through the high standards strived for in every area of the business, the club has everything in place to be at the top of Rugby League for many years to come. I look forward to playing my part in helping the club continue to grow off the field.”
