New figures reveal that Master’s graduates from the University of Huddersfield are outperforming other graduates in the UK on the strength of their earning potential.
Figures released by Prospects indicate that the national average salary for Master's level graduates is £24,428.
A survey by the Careers and Employability Service at the University of graduates from 2007 and 2008 highlight that our Master's students go on to earn over £8,000 more than the national average with an average salary of £32,700. There is also strong evidence of the high premium employers pay for business Master's degrees with business graduates in the survey earning an even higher average of £38,100.
The figures highlight just how valuable a Master’s qualification can prove to be in providing high paid and senior positions for our graduates.
